10 second read: As the name suggests, this is a very nutritious and rich daal recipe. You can to change daals as per availability and still make a beautiful, nutritious recipe for all to behold.
Final preparation
a) Pick and wash all the daals. Mix and pressure cook for 2 whistles and mix well.
b) For the tempering – Heat up the ghee in a heavy bottomed kadhai. Add the dry spices and sauté for a minute. Add the remaining ingredients and cook for a few minutes. Pour the hot mix into the boiled dal and stir well. Garnish with fresh coriander.
The daals soaking is key here. The other important thing is the boiling. Over cooking it is very easy, so please be very careful.
