10 second read: One of the most simple recipes to be made at home, it serves as great winter food. This recipe is home style and much lighter than commercial versions.
Final preparation
a) Cook the sugar and the water together over low heat and make a medium thick syrup.
b) Chop the anjeer very fine or pass it through a mixer.
c) Take a pan and add the anjeer and stir for a minute.
d) Add the mawa and almonds and cook for some more time. Then add the syrup mix well.
e) Make it one even paste and set in a tray. Refrigerate it for a couple of hours. Cut into 10 to 12 pieces.
Best had with a glass of warm milk! You can even add nutmeg or cinnamon for extra flavor.
