10 second read: Very popular Marwari snack or side dish, very quick and easy.

Final preparation 

a) Heat up a pan, add the ghee and the onions, green chilly and chilly powder.

b) Roast for half a minute without the onions losing their crunch.

c) Add the papad and the fresh coriander, toss properly.

d) Serve in a bowl, with the lemon wedges on the side.

Chef's tip

We use a thick papad so it doesn’t get soggy. Also we serve the lemon on the side so everyone can mix it little by little.

Ingredient Checklist:

3 to 4 nos Thick Papad - ideally from Bikaner or Amritsar - (roasted and broken)
1 nos Onions (chopped)
1 nos Green chilly
¼ tsp Red chilly powder
1 tbsp Ghee
2 tsp Fresh coriander
2 to 3 Lemon wedges
